We are dedicated to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring the integrity and security of your athletic and biometric testing data across our mobile applications.
Information We Collect
Depending on whether you use the App in Coach Mode or Athlete Mode, we may collect the following information:
- Account Credentials: Email address, full name, username, and optional profile avatars when registering an account. If using Google Sign-In, we receive your basic public Google authentication profile.
- Athletic Performance & Test Data: Fitness testing metrics including maximal aerobic speed (VMA), sprint split times, VO₂max estimations, heart rate deflection points, blood lactate values, jump heights, fatigue indexes, completed stages/laps, and timestamps.
- Athlete Profiles & Roster Details: Athlete name, age, gender, height, weight, playing position, and team affiliations.
- Device & Diagnostics Data: Anonymized device model, operating system version, app version, language preference, and crash diagnostics to ensure high precision timing reliability.
- Advertising Identifier: For users on our free tier, device advertising identifiers may be processed by Google AdMob to display non-intrusive advertisements.
Camera & On-Device Computer Vision (Real-Time Timing)
- All camera feed processing happens 100% locally in device memory.
- Camera feeds and video frames are never recorded, stored permanently, or transmitted to any external server or third party.
- Once a camera-timed test session concludes, the camera feed is immediately terminated and only the derived numerical score (e.g., elapsed time in seconds) is retained.
How We Use Your Information
The information collected is used exclusively to:
- Calculate standardized physiological scores, timing metrics, and athletic performance indexes.
- Sync your team rosters, athlete profiles, and test history securely across your authenticated devices.
- Generate professional PDF and Excel team reports locally on your device.
- Render customizable athletic scorecards for social sharing.
- Manage subscription tiers via RevenueCat.
- Maintain app stability, calibrate audio countdowns, and refine timing precision.
Social Sharing & Media Access
When you choose to export high-definition result cards or custom scorecards:
- If you select a photo from your gallery as a scorecard background, that image is processed and rendered strictly locally on your device.
- We do not upload your personal gallery photos to our servers during scorecard creation.
Third-Party Service Providers
We work with trusted industry-standard infrastructure providers to deliver our services:
- Supabase: Cloud database, authentication, and encrypted storage with Row-Level Security (RLS) ensuring strict multi-user data isolation.
- RevenueCat: Secure processing and validation of in-app subscriptions and entitlements.
- Google AdMob: Serves contextual ads to non-Pro users in compliance with Google Play Developer policies.
- Google Sign-In: Secure authentication provider.
- Google ML Kit: On-device machine learning libraries for real-time motion and line-crossing detection.
Data Storage, Security & Multi-User Isolation
Time4Test uses an offline-first architecture. Your data is stored locally in encrypted Hive databases. For authenticated users with cloud sync enabled, communication with our Supabase servers is protected by industry-standard TLS/SSL encryption and strict PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS) policies guaranteeing that no user can access another user's teams or test records.
Data Retention & Account Deletion
You have full ownership of your data. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through:
- In-App Deletion: Open Profile & Settings → Delete Account to immediately wipe your account, cloud sessions, and athlete rosters.
- Web Request: Visit our dedicated Account Deletion Instructions page.
- Email Request: Contact us directly at support.time4test@gmail.com.
Children’s Privacy
While coaches may record performance statistics for youth athletes (e.g., student sports teams), Time4Test account creation is intended for individuals aged 13 and older (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal account registration information directly from children under 13 without parental or coach authorization.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates, new testing protocols, or regulatory requirements. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and posting an in-app notice when applicable.
